I'll tell you what annoys me at our university. This is only my personal opinion, which is not intended to offend anyone.
Firstly, I believe that the organization, in the final year of study is very bad. I feel that teachers want to do with us everything about what they forgot the whole five years of study. This affects the quality of learning, because in addition to making a lot of homework we have to write the thesis too. The idea of listening to the radio and doing comprehension is very good, but I do not think it is a perfect idea for the last year.
Secondly, I do not understand why students have to do everything on time, and teachers do not try to check students' work on time. For me it is disrespectful.
I know I complain but it not everything is unfounded. Studying is not only fun, but also hard work. I wish, however, that teachers have in mind the fact that not only their subject is important and that students are human beings, not robots.

ReplyDeleteI don't know if your complaint is addressed to me or not, but since your MA course takes TWO years, half of your study time is your LAST year. Things could be arranged better, I assume, but it's clearly not going to be an easy year for you. I hope the last semester will be a bit better. At least you will be free of English! ;) Take care!
